"To be simple, to appreciate what has been given to us and to take care of our body is an act of humility. Do not fight your body. Do not carry the world on your shoulders like Atlas. Do not kill the instinct of the body for the glory of the pose. Watch it, listen to it, observe its needs, its requests and even have fun. To be sensitive is to be alive."
~ Vanda Scaravelli

Wendy Sammut, OYA-R (500 hours)
Wendy
is a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor who has studied and practiced yoga
and meditation for over 20 years. Her style of teaching is greatly
influenced by the work of Vanda Scaravelli, who believed the body must
be happy in order to find movement. Wendy teaches from a place of personalized attention, believing that the yoga journey is a combination of body, mind and spirit where each student develops their own sense of personal intuition and compassion. She finds inspiration through
on-going study with Diane Long, as well as workshops, retreats and
other yoga venues. Her love of life and wealth of experience comes through in a focused, playful, attentive and caring approach.

| Ellen
has been involved in yoga for a number of years. As a student of Inner
Sanctum's two-year 500 hour yoga teacher training program she is well
versed in the work of Vanda Scaravelli and the concept of yoga as a
lifestyle. Ellen is an avid hiker and skier who finds her yoga
practice has enhanced these activities through the mind/body/spirit
connection. Ellen brings that connection through in her gentle and
empathetic approach to teaching.
